By accessing or using Linguistfy's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Linguistfy provides professional English-Afrikaans translation, audio transcription, and subtitling services. All services are delivered by qualified native-speaking linguists. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise specified. The project calculator provides estimates based on current rates and selected parameters. Final invoices are issued upon project acceptance. Full payment is required before delivery of completed work. Rates are subject to change without notice; however, accepted quotes are honoured at the stated rate.

3. Turnaround Times

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith. Standard delivery is calculated based on project volume and complexity. Express Priority orders are subject to availability. Linguistfy is not liable for delays caused by incomplete or unclear source materials, late payment, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete source materials. You warrant that you hold all necessary rights and permissions to the content submitted for translation, transcription, or subtitling. Linguistfy accepts no liability for infringement claims arising from client-submitted content.

5. Confidentiality

Linguistfy treats all client materials as strictly confidential. We do not share, sell, or disclose your documents or project details to any third party. Source files and completed deliverables are retained solely for the purpose of service delivery and quality review.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, all rights to the completed translation, transcription, or subtitle output are transferred to the client. Linguistfy retains no rights to reproduce or distribute the delivered work. Source materials remain the intellectual property of the client at all times.

7. Revisions & Quality

Linguistfy is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality work. If you believe a deliverable contains errors attributable to us, you may request a revision within 7 days of delivery. Revision requests must specify the nature of the error. We do not offer revisions for changes to the original brief or scope made after project acceptance.

8. Limitation of Liability

Linguistfy's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of business, revenue, or data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

10. Changes to These Terms

Linguistfy reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
